Looking Ahead to 2025: A Year of Growth and Connection at Mary’s House

2024 has been a remarkable year for Mary’s House. From being featured in the Tallaght Echo, opening our Tallaght and Ballapousta centres, to expanding our reach in the community, we’re proud of our achievements and excited for the opportunities ahead in 2025.

One of the challenges we’ve embraced is celebrating our wins. As highlighted in the Tallaght Echo, our team has worked tirelessly to ensure love and high standards of care remain at the heart of what we do, even during challenging times. Their exceptional dedication is the foundation of everything we offer to children and families. Yet, we know there’s more we can celebrate—and we want to bring our families and community into those moments with us.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we move forward, we’re focused on three key areas of growth:

1. Additional services for Ballapousta

In early 2025 we will start offering full-time childcare hours at our Ballapousta centre. We are also exploring increasing our capacity, including one-year-olds, which means we can welcome more families and support their needs. While growing Ballapousta brings exciting opportunities, it also presents challenges, such as recruiting passionate, qualified staff who share our commitment to nurturing every child. We’re dedicated to finding team members who will uphold our values and vision.

2. Commitment to Children and Families

Our work is deeply rooted in the love and care we provide to children and their families. In 2025, we’ll enhance communication through tools like the TeachKloud platform, and use of social medias, and continue engaging with parents to ensure their voices are heard. We’re also committed to supporting our staff’s professional growth through specialised training and certifications, ensuring they bring their very best to every child in our care.

3. Embracing Community Learning

Mary’s House is more than a childcare center; it’s a learning community. Just as children grow through curiosity and exploration, so do we. We’re excited to collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to share knowledge and learn from one another.
